Quick update: Back from Calgary

Well I`m back from Calgary, had a great time, I really needed the time away to refresh myself. I actully ended up not spending as much money as I thought I would up there. So I have quit a bit left in my savings.
I can`t wait tell the end of the month and I get my tax return: 500$ and backpay for my GST for about  around 400-600$, strait into my savings.

I wanted to post a haul, BUT I left my camera at my sisters >.< So I guess tomorrow I'm ganna have someone take me over to the store to buy a new one. I was in need of a new one anyway. I wanted to run over there today sense it was my day off, but last night I came down with a very very nasty Fever, almost taken to the hospital, oh the fun it lol.

January Haul / 20th Birthday

So nothing too much, just a little haul for the month of January, and a little post about my 20th birthday.

First off, makeup products and whatnot. Not too much, mostly because I`m on a all natural kick, and I don`t wear too much makeup. I like looking as natural as possible.

But the things I did get are as listed.

SkinFood: Mushroom Triple function BB cream (Shade#: 1)

This is my all-time fav BB cream, it (used) to match my skin perfectly, but now I am a shade too light for it, and 1 was the lightest shade :(

SkinFood: Good AfterNoon BB cream: Honey black Tea(Shade#: 1)

I haven't had a chance to properly use this, but I love the smell and it's basically the same shade as my Mushroom BB cream, only maybe half a shade lighter, with a more pink undertone.

Avène: Toner

I`ve been using this sense the night I got this, so almost a month now, and my skin feels so soft after, I use it in the morning before moisturiser and makeup, and at night. It feel like I`m putting water on my skin, no smell, no burning or irritation.

Avène: Soothing Hydrating serum

Now, if you know me, you know I love Korean skincare, and right now, my regimen is pretty much mimicked that of a Korean girls (Kind of) And I needed a serum to make it so. Though I`m kind of tempted to buy more serums sense this one worked so well. I always get a dry patch near the right side of my mouth and chin, sense using this, I haven't had any dry flakes what so ever. It`s non grease and spreads nicely over my entire face.

RiceDay Soap: I got this off Ebay and I am IN LOVE WITH IT! This stuff is wonderful. I was always iffy about using bar soap on my face, but this stuff is so moisturizing and deep cleaning. And it really does whiten your skin. I`ve seen my face go at least half a shade lighter, and some of my hyper pigmentation starting to lighten.

Not to mention its extremely moisturising. (Didn't take a picture)

I also got a bunch of little samples with my BB creams, and when I bought my Toner and Serum, the lady was nice enough to give me more of the Avène line, I think she wants me to get hooked on it lol.

My OTAKU HAUL

I have a very very massive problem I know lol. I have been collecting Manga sense I was ten years old, and I must be, by now, at about 400 manga volums. But this month I think was the most I ever bought in a month. This includs Asian Horrors (I love them too much lol) Manga, and anime.

It`s only the 6th of February, and already I`ve ordered 7 books online. At least I fineshed two series, Peach girl, and Mars, that only too me 4 years lol

Now on to my birthday, I turned 20 this month :( and no I`m not happy about it, I`m getting so old, I`m going to be haggard soon (No I`m not fishing, I`m just really scared that I`m going to look in the mirror one day and look like my mother O.O My older sister fears this as well)


Now, I don`t have a family really, I have people I live with, and am related too by blood. But I don`t have a family. To me a family is people who care and love you, and are there for you.


 So I can`t say I enjoy my birthday. I had to work. But Dan picked me up, and when I got to the car he had my fav flowers, (White Lilies) He took me out for dinner (be would not let me get into his car without opening the door for me lol), though because it was early we stopped at the anime store and I bought myself a few birthday presents, Loveless (complete anime series) A few manga`s, then we stopped at a gameshop, and I bought myself Kingdom Hearts: Re:chain of memories.


As his present he bought me a Superman hoodie, funny, superman is my least fav Hero, but I love his symbol. (Too lazy to take a picture right now)

I didn't bother going home after work, I didn't want to, so we just went strait from my job out. I looked like crap that night.

We had dinner then went to a little place with really good ice cream, then after we went to the movies. Saw the Immortal`s. It was actually pretty good. Though he kept bitching about how it sucked compared to 300 (which I haven't seen)

I've been here for 20 years, Hopfully fate will let me still be here in another 20.

And as another little gift to myself , I`m going out to Calgary on the 14th to see my sister. Sense she`s the only person I consider family. So I`ll be doing some shopping while I`m up there. So I`ll be doing another Haul at the end of this month.
