Review: MBD Mask: Royal Jelly Mask

I love sheet masks, anything to keep my skin soft and hydrated, I have soo many! Too many some might say, example.

Though I guess many may have much more then me, if so, I am jealous! Anyway, on to the review.

Over the past month, I gave a few different masks to some of my coworkers and friends, and told them if they like they liked then, I could order them some. My boss ended up getting me to buy her two boxes, and my friend Dana wanted the honey ones from My beauty Diary. So I placed my order from Sasa.com Which I have concluded I am addicted to, considering how much I order from them. I have promised myself, not to order from Sasa for one month! I am already having withdraws lol. Dana and I ended up trading a couple of her masks for other ones I had so she could try them and I would try these ones.

My beauty Diary: Royal Jelly Mask

Prince: 13.00$ Canadian

Packaging: I wish I would have taken a picture of the box before Dana took it home, because it was soo cute! It reminded my of old school Winny the Poo. Probably my fav, out of packaging, of all the MBD masks

Scent: Probably my fav from all the MBD masks I have tried, kind of sweet, milky candy scent.

Effectiveness: First off I want to say, I`m kind of a health nut when it comes to skin, mostly because I`m tarrified of aging, and yes, I know there is no way to stop it. But you can slow it down by trying to do the right things. The reason why I wanted to try these, is because honey is soo good for your skin, honey is a miracle food, it never goes bad. My grandmother had a huge pail of it down in her celler years ago, that she would go down, and get a cup from, and she had it there for probably 20 years and it was still as fresh as the day she got it. Bacteria cannot grow in honey because all things being equal, bacteria loves sugar. The unique chemical composition of low water content and relatively high acidic level in honey creates a low pH (3.2-4.5) environment that makes it very unfavorable for bacteria or other micro-organism to grow. When I used to have bad breakout I would use Honey to help and calm them without drying out my skin.

After using this I didn`t see much the moment I took it off, but it stayed moist for very very long, after an hour it was still very wet, I didn`t want to take it off, but I figured it was already on for so long. In the morning my skin did seem softer, a little brighter, firmer. Looks like I have another new fav, I`ll have to buy myself a box once I`m off my anti-Sasa month lol.

Over all Rating: *****

I have soo many things I have to review, tell next time guys <3

Skin is finally getting

So, as I mentioned in my last few posts, my skin as been getting much better, I actually went out to the mall, (Just quickly to return a pair of runners) Without putting on any coverup or bbcream, I haven't been able to leave the house without a full face of makeup in years! I haven't been getting hardly ANY pimples what so ever. And my scars are finally having a chance to heal up. I'm really happy. That stuff I've been using in a Blessing.

But I'm sure there is more to it then just using this product. Sense I haven't been getting very many pimples, I haven't had the urge to pick, there for touch my face. I haven't had to wear as much makeup, there for less oil and clogged pores. I still keep up with my skincare routine regardless of how much better it is getting. I still love and care for my skin, and I would even if I already had perfect skin.

Both pictures were taken infront of my window with natural light. The one on the left, is from 6-7 months ago. And the one of the right (no makeup) If from about an hour ago.

Anyway, I'll keep you guys updated, ALSO! My sister FINALLY sent me my damn camera, So i can not start doing reviews and taking pictures!

Review: Neova smoothing gel

First off, I want to say, sorry guys for not posting anything, I feel bad. But my sister STILL hasn`t sent me my damn camera! Hopefully, sense I`m heading up to Edmonton for the weekend, help my dad move out there, she might drive down to see us while we`re there. AND! Bring my camera. She`s just been way to lazy to go and send it to me! So, forgive me for the crappy photo quality.

Anyway, in my last post I mentioned about a exfoiletor I was given by the doctor that checked out my face.
I wanted to give it some time, see it if was worth mentioning, and it was.

Neova: Smoothing Gel {Glycolic acid 10%} 59ml
Price: 38.97$ Canadian

Description: This is a, Powerful 10% non buffered glycolic acid gel exfoliates surface cells, stimulates cell turnover, and faces visible signs of photodamages. This gel refines skin texture, reduces pore size and prepares the skin for maximum perpetration of treatment products to follow.

Though it is a small bottle, for 40$ I think it is worth buying, I've had it for a month so far and I think I have a little over half left, using it ever other day. It is an acid so instructions say to only leave it on your skin for no longer then 3 minuets, before washing it off well with water. It does itch like crazy if you leave it on longer then 4 minuets.

Effectiveness: This stuff works wonders! I mean it, I haven't had this clear of skin in SOOO long, no, my skin isn't perfect yet. But this really helps in keeping your skin clear of dead skin that can cause pimples, and it's very gentle on the skin but high powered. I've only had maybe 4-5 pimples sense I got it about a month ago, no painful cystic pimps either <3, I did feel one coming on, about three days ago in one of my old problem areas, but I used this two nights in a row, and now it's gone, and I didn't pick! So no red marks.
A part of me is starting to think maybe I might not need the operation is this keeps working as well as it has been.

My skin is staying clear, so I'm not being tempted to pick at it, and it's finally having a chance to heal properly without experience more breakouts, my pores look clearer/smaller, my face feels plumper, and brighter.  And my makeup goes on much smoother, and lasts the entire day without looking like crap at the end. I got home today and looked in the mirror and was like, WHOW! It looks like I've only had my makeup on for maybe an hour or so! (The foundation and blush parts, my eye makeup had started to smear a little lol)
Pros:
- A little goes along way, a dime sized drop covers the entire face
- Makes skin super smooth
- smaller looking pores
- calms pimples fast (WAY faster than even using a zit cream or tea-tree oil)

Cons:
- It is expensive for a bottle so small (but so worth it!)
- It makes you want to scratch your face soo badly when it's on (It is an Acid, so it burns, but it doesn't hurt as much as it makes you really itchy the last minute out of the 4 you have to wear it for.)

Regardless of the price, before I run out, I'm hoping to go back there and buy two more bottles, just so I'm stalked up.
